Born out of UC Berkeley, our foundation is precision sensing research supported by the NSF, NIH, EPA, and DoD. We entered poultry in direct response to customer needs—starting with ammonia sensing and expanding into flock monitoring, performance insights, and harvest planning workflows. Today, Calyx delivers closed-loop, human-supervised autonomy for flock monitoring and harvest scheduling, turning camera and sensor data into recommended actions with measurable ROI.
